Finding Monobank details for an international transfer

How to choose the correct account details and share them with the sender without errors.

First clarify the sending method

Sending by card number, SWIFT and SEPA may require different information. Before copying details, ask the sender which method they are arranging. A card number does not replace an IBAN.

Monobank describes its international receiving methods on its official transfer page. Use your app's details for the required account, as the bank may change account details and partners.

How to prepare the details

Open the required card or account in the app, find top-ups from abroad or account details, and select the transfer type. Menu names may change between versions.

  • Check the selected account's currency.
  • Copy the recipient name, IBAN and banking details in full.
  • Include intermediary details if the bank specifies them.
  • Share the file or copied text with the sender.
  • Ask them to check the currency before confirming.

Information the sender does not need

Do not share your PIN, CVV, app password or one-time codes to receive a transfer. Account details address the payment, while confirmation codes can authorise control of money.

If payment is delayed, keep proof of sending and request a check using the transaction number. Do not repeat the transfer before clarifying the first one's status.
