SmartPay is a route-comparison feature
SmartPay compares available receiving options using currencies, fees and known bank rules. The feature does not send money instead of the service: you arrange the transfer with the chosen provider.
A direct route may already include currency exchange by the service. A SmartPay alternative may use an intermediate currency and a subsequent exchange. 'Direct' therefore does not mean 'without a promotion' and does not always mean 'without conversion'.
Why not every service has every currency
A calculation is needed for a specific country, bank and receiving method. An app's general currency list is insufficient: sending, crediting and the exchange process must be known.
If no bank calculations exist for a route, the SmartPay block is not shown. That is not a ban on transfers, but an absence of confirmed alternatives to compare.
Bonuses are considered separately
A promotion may change the rate, fee or both. Enabled SmartPay does not prove a promotion exists, and disabling bonuses does not remove the currency route.
You can disable promotions for every service or just one you have already used. Where standard terms are incompletely disclosed, the comparison explains that rather than presenting an unknown tariff as confirmed.
How to apply your own rate
Open the rate and fee correction, enter values from the service or bank, and apply them. A grey pencil means original data; a blue one means an active edit. Changes are stored only in this browser and reset with 'Service data'.
Check the parameters again before payment: rates, availability and costs can change after calculation. A favourable result compares known terms; it does not guarantee a future exchange.
