Sending money to Ukraine and comparing receiving methods

Card, bank account or cash: choosing a route by amount, timing and how the money will be used.

Start with the recipient's needs

For purchases, compare crediting to a card or account. For cash, consider a collection point or subsequent bank withdrawal. The convenient route depends on the final action, not just an attractive rate.

Ask the recipient for their bank, currency and account type. For cash, check the city and collection availability. Do not choose a method for the recipient without checking they can use it.

Compare the same budget

Enter the sending country, amount and receiving method in the calculator. Compare the full debit including fees. In target-receipt mode, look at how much the sender must pay.

  • Check the best card, account and cash options.
  • Disable a particular service's welcome offer if already used.
  • Open the rate, fee and delivery details.
  • Where SmartPay is available, review exchange stages and the chosen bank's rules.

How to carry out the chosen transfer

Go to the service and repeat the calculation parameters. If it shows a different fee or rate, return to the comparison and enter them in the correction. Do not confirm payment based on an outdated snapshot.

Keep the receipt. For bank transfers, use details issued by the recipient's bank; for cash, use the document details and instructions of the chosen system.

Timing and amount may point to different choices

A small increase in receipt does not always justify a longer route. Check business days, verification and potential delays. If money is needed today, compare a faster available method as well as the amount leader.
