Accounts and an available transaction are required
PayPal requires an account to send and receive funds. Check the particular transaction's availability for both accounts' countries: the features of a Ukrainian profile cannot be inferred from an American or European description.
Do not confuse a personal payment to somebody you know with payment for goods or services. Different payment types have different conditions; do not choose an incorrect type merely to reduce the fee.

How to prepare a transfer
Ask the recipient to confirm their PayPal-linked contact and ability to accept the required currency. Then review the fee, exchange and final amount in the sending form.
- Check the recipient's name and contact.
- Choose the appropriate payment type.
- Review the debiting and receiving currencies.
- Check available card withdrawal and its cost.
- Keep the confirmation until every stage is complete.
Why the old 'no fee' claim is not enough
Temporary concessions cannot be treated as a permanent tariff. Besides sending, costs can arise from exchange and withdrawal. If terms are not shown before confirmation, check your account's help centre.
Compare the amount on the bank card after withdrawal with the amount from a direct bank transfer. A PayPal balance and money already credited to a bank are different final results.
