Step 1: Open the Monobank app

Transfers in euros or US dollars:

Are credited to the corresponding foreign currency accounts without conversion. According to tariffs from the 2024 review: you can subsequently either convert them into hryvnia at Monobank's card exchange rate, or withdraw them at partner bank branches with a 0.9% fee.

Step 4: Retrieve and share details

In the app, you can view and copy your account IBAN and the bank's SWIFT code. You can also email all necessary details to the sender by tapping "Send details by email" ("надіслати реквізити на електронну пошту") at the bottom of the details screen.

Step 5: Using SEPA for euro transfers

Monobank supports incoming SEPA transfers via the details provided in the app, allowing you to receive euro transfers quickly and with lower fees. If the sender can use SEPA, provide them with the relevant details from the "Within Europe" ("У межах Європи") tab. Check the expected delivery time with the sender and the bank: crediting within a few minutes is not guaranteed.

Rules for crediting and converting currencies on a Monobank card

International transfers in euros and dollars are credited to accounts opened in those currencies. Payments in British pounds, Polish zloty, Canadian dollars, and Swiss francs are automatically converted and credited to a hryvnia account at Monobank's current exchange rate. SWIFT transfers to a Monobank account in other currencies are not supported. Card transfers to Monobank in currencies outside this list are first converted into US dollars at the correspondent bank's rate, and then the dollars are converted into hryvnia at Monobank's card exchange rate.
