Privacy policy
Welcome to paytoua.com (the “Site”). We aim to protect our users’ privacy. This Privacy policy (the “Policy”) describes the data we process, how we use it and the steps we take to protect it. Original version: 11 June 2024. Updated: 15 September 2026.
1. Processing of personal data
Personal data controller (the person determining the purposes and means of processing): Syrovatskyi Volodymyr, operator of paytoua.com.
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and relevant national legislation apply to the processing of personal data. For questions about processing by the operator of paytoua.com, use the contact details in section 10.
2. Data collected
Contact data: your name, email address, phone number and message content that you voluntarily provide when contacting us. Registration on paytoua.com is not required for ordinary comparisons. Do not send us passwords, full payment card details or identity documents intended for transfer providers.
Technical data: the web server may process your IP address, request time and address, device type, operating system, browser type and version, referring address and technical errors. This is needed to deliver pages, diagnose problems and protect the Site.
Usage data: the selected corridor, currencies, amount and other parameters are needed to calculate the comparison. Manual rates, fees and promotion choices may be stored locally in your browser (localStorage) to apply your settings; you can reset them through the relevant interface or delete them through your browser settings.
Off by default. With your consent, Google Analytics receives page views and actions such as clicks, filter selections and visits to providers, plus general device and browser information and approximate location. Bank details are not sent. Google Analytics operates on paytoua.com only after your consent. Withdrawal stops future analytics and clears GA cookies accessible to the site. It does not automatically delete data already sent to Google. Advertising cookies and advertising tracking are not used.
3. Use of data
Providing information services and operating the Site: processing comparison parameters and saving functional settings that you request.
Handling user requests and providing support: using your contact details and message content to respond.
Maintaining and protecting the Site: diagnosing errors, preventing abuse and ensuring availability through technical logs.
Off by default. With your consent, Google Analytics receives page views and actions such as clicks, filter selections and visits to providers, plus general device and browser information and approximate location. Bank details are not sent. Advertising cookies and advertising tracking are not used.
4. Legal bases for processing
Legitimate interest: ensuring the operation and security of the Site and responding to enquiries, taking your rights and interests into account.
The need to perform a contract or take steps at your request before entering one applies only where the particular service or enquiry objectively requires it. A legal obligation is the basis where processing is expressly required by law.
Consent: for optional tools if they are enabled and consent is required by law. Consent must be voluntary and separate; refusing optional tools must not block ordinary comparisons. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
5. Sharing data with third parties
Hosting, technical support and email suppliers may process data to the extent needed for their roles. Data may also be provided to competent authorities in response to a proper lawful request. We do not promise that no data sharing takes place.
After you follow a link to a provider or partner website, that website processes data under its own policy; your browser may send technical information about the visit, and an affiliate link may contain a referral identifier. paytoua.com does not verify the sender’s or recipient’s identity on the provider’s behalf.
If using a supplier will involve transferring personal data outside the EEA, the applicable GDPR mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or appropriate contractual safeguards, must be identified and the relevant information provided before that transfer. You can request information about recipients and applicable safeguards using the contacts below; this Policy does not state that all data is stored exclusively within the EU.
6. Data security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the processing to protect data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or destruction. No system provides absolute security; this does not limit our legal obligations to protect data or respond to breaches.
7. Data retention
Personal data is kept only as long as needed for the stated purposes or to comply with the law. For enquiries, we consider the time needed to respond and resolve follow-up issues; for technical logs, we consider diagnostic, security and incident investigation needs. Data should not be retained indefinitely without a proper basis.
Local settings remain in your browser until reset, site data deletion or browser cleanup. The period may depend on browser settings. Deleting local data resets saved personal calculations and promotion choices.
8. User rights
Under the GDPR and subject to its conditions, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing.
You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it. To exercise your rights, write to info@paytoua.com. Where reasonably necessary, we may ask for minimal additional information to verify your identity. We normally respond within one month; any extension permitted by law will be explained.
You have the right to complain to a supervisory authority, including Úrad na ochranu osobných údajov Slovenskej republiky: https://www.dataprotection.gov.sk/en/data-subjects/ . You may also contact the competent authority where you habitually live, work or where the alleged infringement occurred.
Comparing offers is not a decision to provide you with a financial service. That decision is made by the relevant provider; the Site does not claim to make automated decisions about you producing legal or similarly significant effects.
9. Disclaimer
The Site provides reference information on international money transfer rates and fees. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or currency and exclude liability for losses arising from reliance on it. This does not restrict GDPR rights, the right to compensation, mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
10. Contact
Personal data controller (the person determining the purposes and means of processing): Syrovatskyi Volodymyr, operator of paytoua.com.
If you have questions or suggestions about this Policy or the processing of personal data, contact the operator of paytoua.com at info@paytoua.com or +421 950 348416. Contact address: Obchodná 559/37, 81106, Slovak Republic. Number provided by the operator: 53 763 955.
11. Changes to the Policy
We may update the Policy from time to time and publish a new version with an update date on this page. If processing purposes change or fresh consent is needed, the relevant information and, where necessary, a consent request must be provided before that processing begins.
12. Cookies and browser storage
Functional localStorage is used for requested comparison settings, including manual rates, fees and promotions. Access to device storage must comply with applicable rules; the consent exception applies only to technically necessary access or a service expressly requested by the user.
Country suggestion
To suggest a sending country on your first visit, the server sends your IP address to ipwho.is and uses the country returned. This identifies an approximate country, not your precise location. You can change the suggested country manually. The provider’s policy: https://ipwhois.io/privacy
